The Gottlieben retro jewelry box is filled with 28 Praliné, Mocca, Gianduja wafer rolls and enchants with its picturesque motif: Harmonious tranquillity in Gottlieben. Our gaze wanders over the clear waters of the Seerhein to Gottlieben Castle, situated on the eastern edge of the small municipality. The photo from 1860 invites us to dream and makes the retro tin with its delicately crafted details a real eye-catcher.
The Amarone Colonna Ducale is made from dried grapes. After the harvest, the hand-picked grapes are stored for around 3 months in spacious, well-ventilated halls, the so-called fruttaie, to be dried by the cold autumn and winter breezes. During this time, the grapes lose around 30-35% of their original weight. The loss of liquid causes sugar and aromas to concentrate in the pulp, giving Amarone its incomparable character. After vinification, the Amarone matures for at least three years in large oak barrels before being refined again for at least six months in the bottle.
