Be enchanted by Rolf Knie’s Gottlieber decorative artists’ tin. The cute 3D embossed «tiger babies» on the lid give it a superb, unique feel and look. Rolf Knie Edition I contains ten of the finest Gottlieber wafer rolls, using the traditional mix (praline, mocha and gianduja).
The melt-in-the-mouth praline filling – Gottlieber’s original variant and also our most popular one – is made from roasted hazelnuts and high-quality cocoa paste. This is also the basis of the mocha filling, which is additionally enriched with the finest Arabica coffee. The gianduja filling is a delight with its superb roasted hazelnut taste and its dark organic chocolate coating. Since January 2023, our traditional fillings are even vegan and palm oil free.
The talented and versatile artist Rolf Knie was born in Bern in 1949 and is known for his painting as well as his sculpting skills. He designs both bronze and small sculptures as well as monumental iron ones weighing up to 16 tons. Numerous exhibitions at home and abroad (including Paris, London, Munich, Madrid, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Singapore, Uruguay and Cuba) demonstrate the great popularity of the renowned Swiss artist.
