The workshop can be booked in groups of 8 to 12 people. Cost: CHF 88.– per person, from 12 years of age.

The sweetest event for groups and companies is run with 8 people or more. In the case of smaller groups, we charge an all-in price of CHF 700.-.

We offer various date options (including Sundays). During Christmas season in November/December our chocolate workshops are only bookable on Friday afternoon, Saturday and Sunday. What does the chocolate experience involve?

Our chocolate experience takes you on an exciting journey through the world of cocoa and gives you an opportunity to forge and decorate your own delicious chocolate creations. Under the guidance of our experienced specialists, you will fill and decorate truffles and pour and decorate chocolate bars. You will also receive an embroidered Gottlieber apron and a chef’s hat, to ensure that you feel like a real chocolatier. The experience is rounded off with an enjoyable drinks reception and a certificate presentation ceremony.

How long does the chocolate workshop at Gottlieber Hüppen take?

Our chocolate workshop takes 2.5 to 3 hours, during which time you will be able to immerse yourself in the sweet world of chocolate and create your own masterpieces. We guarantee that it will be packed with fun and tasty experiences that you will remember fondly for many years to come.

How much does the chocolate workshop cost?

The chocolate workshop costs CHF 88 per person for groups of 8 to 12 people aged 12 and over. For smaller groups of up to eight people, we offer an all-in price of CHF 700.

Can I also book the chocolate workshop for one person?

Bookings for individuals are separate workshops, for which we charge the all-in price of CHF 700.

Are children allowed to take part in the chocolate workshops?

Children aged 12 and over are very welcome to take part in our workshops.

Which payment methods are available?

Payment for your chocolate workshop can be made conveniently in cash, by card or with TWINT at the Gottlieber factory.

Are there special rules for visitors taking part in the workshop?

During the workshop, you will be spending time on the premises of a food production company. It is therefore important that you only attend if you are healthy. Please see our guidelines for visitors, which are intended to help you during your participation in the workshop. Our friendly employees will be available at all times to answer questions and provide further assistance if required.

Is there parking on site and can I get there by train?

If you arrive by car, there are limited parking spaces available directly at our manufactory. Cars can also park here. If the parking spaces at our Manufaktur are full, there is a paid public parking lot on Gottlieberstrasse, directly at the entrance to the village, which is just a few minutes’ walk away.

If preferred to travel here by train, Tägerwilen-Gottlieben train station is also just a few minutes’ walk from our factory.

What happens if I have to cancel my workshop booking?

Cancellations are subject to our cancellation conditions, which you will receive when you make the booking. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can occur and will make every effort to offer you flexible solutions if you have to switch your workshop appointment. Please contact us in plenty of time so that we can process your request.

Cancellation is possible up to 14 days before the start of the workshop, subject to an administration fee. If the chocolate workshop is canceled at a later date or the participants fail to turn up and do not give a reason, the full price must be paid.

Can I also buy products from Gottlieber Hüppen?

Before and after the course, you will have the opportunity to buy our varied selection of wafer rolls and other delicious specialties in our lakeside café, directly adjacent to our factory. Please pay attention to the opening hours.

Can the chocolate workshop be combined with other Gottlieber offers?

Yes, of course! In addition to our chocolate workshops, we offer factory tours for groups of 10 people or more.

It is also possible to rent our Idea Factory for workshops, management meetings or a creative breakout session with your team.

Before or after your workshop, we will be happy to welcome you at our Gottlieber lakeside café and factory store, which has its own terrace and is situated directly on the banks of the idyllic Seerhein river. We are happy to accept advance reservations.
